Maxfind Max2 Pro Electric Skateboard

The Maxfind Max2 Pro Electric Skateboard is available in two versions: a 600-watt single motor version and a dual-motor version with a combined output of 1200-watt. Both versions are made with impact-resistant nylon fiber and glass fiber material with a diamond-cut design to improve flexibility.

See the Maxfind Max 2 Pro Electric Skateboard on Amazon

Both versions are safe to ride through mud and water. However, there is a slight difference in performance depending on which motor version you’re riding. The Max2 Pro single motor version is capable of a 20% hill inclination grade, but the dual-motor can take it up to a 28% hill climbing grade.

Interestingly, the battery range is the same in both versions but the dual motor is faster with a top speed of 24 mph. On the flip side, we’re disappointed that if you weigh more than 220 pounds, you would exceed the load capacity on the Maxfind Max2 Pro Electric Skateboard. Then again, you can purchase either version for less than $600 which is a good bargain.

The Meepo V3 is one of the most popular cheap electric skateboards on the market. Of course, its biggest allure is that it’s lightweight and flexible with a maximum speed of 29 mph. Not to mention, it has a rider weight limit of 330 pounds which helps to expand its fan base.

See the Meepo V3 at Meepoboard.com

Despite its low price, the Meepo V3 is engineered with dual motors with a combined power of 1080 watts. That is enough for a 30% grade climbing capability. Besides that, it can accelerate from 0 to 19 mph in less than 5 seconds.

Unfortunately, the Meepo V3 is not designed for off-road skating. However, the wheels are puncture-resistant and they don’t require maintenance.

Skatebolt Tornado II Electric Skateboard

The Skatebolt Tornado II has a range of 24 miles; if you’re keeping count, that is a lot of range for a low-budget electric skateboard. If that doesn’t convince you, it can accelerate from 0 to 15 mph in about 4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 26 mph.

The deck is made out of eight layers of maple to improve flexibility while the trucks are carved out of steel to make it sturdy. In addition to that, the wheels are made out of solid rubber and they’re unlikely to wear and tear if you ride on smooth surfaces.

Another cool thing about it is that it’s fitted with a bright red light at the rear that makes it easier for road users to spot you at night. The remote control is ergonomic and easy to control.

Its biggest drawback is the extra weight added by the steel trucks. Nevertheless, 19 pounds is not too bad but it’s slightly heavier when you compare it to other electric skateboards.

What we like about Skatebolt Tornado II

  • Exceptional long range
  • 25% hill climbing grade
  • It has a bright taillight
  • Puncture-resistant tires
  • Easy to control skateboard

Teamgee H5 Blade Electric Skateboard

The Teamgee H5 Blade is marketed as the world’s thinnest e-board. That’s a bold statement that is hard to verify, but we can confirm it’s one of the lightest cheap electric skateboards for adults on our guide with a weight of 13.7 pounds. Surprisingly, the deck is made out of 10 layers of Canadian maple wood and 1 layer of fiberglass; that means it won’t break easily.

See the Teamgee H5 Blade at Teamgee.com

What’s more, the deck is designed to be closer to the ground to improve stability and comfort. If you take advantage of the motor and concave design with a lower center of gravity, it’s possible to hit 25 mph on the board. Better yet, it’s capable of a 20% uphill grade.

Its compromise? Since the board is ultra-thin, it can only support a maximum weight of up to 220 pounds.

What we like about Teamgee H5 Blade Electric Skateboard

  • Lightweight deck
  • Flexible concave design
  • 20% hill grade
  • Fast acceleration
  • Ergonomic remote control with LED flashlight

For starters, it comes with 2 different remote control options; if you choose the remote control with a screen, you could unlock the speed to 28 mph.

See the Apsuboard V3 Electric Skateboard on Apsuboard.com

You will notice the deck is designed with a convex shape to give you the advantage of higher ground. But that’s not all; the Apsuboard V3 Electric Skateboard can go uphill at 25 degrees and still maintain a consistent speed.

RazorX Electric Skateboard

Truth be told, the Razor X is trumped by most skateboards on this guide. However, this is because the RazorX Electric Skateboard is designed for kids as young as 9 years old. It comes with a 125-watt hub motor that can achieve a maximum speed of 10 mph; that’s not too fast for most kids.

See the RazorX Electric Skateboard on Amazon

Beyond that, it weighs about 9.7 pounds and we can bet most kids wouldn’t have a problem carrying it around. Another cool feature is the remote control that can be strapped on the wrist which is perfect for most kids. Of course, it’s a beginner-friendly remote control that makes it easy to adjust the speed.

Since it’s an electric skateboard for kids, we don’t expect much from it; although we think it could have been better if it came with a longer battery range.

Backfire G2 Black Electric Skateboard

If you’re new to electric skating, the Backfire G2 Black Electric Skateboard could be just what you need to slowly gain confidence. To begin with, the remote control doesn’t just display the battery range, odometer, and connection but it will also let you control the speed through 3 different modes; eco, sport, and turbo mode.

See the Backfire G2 Black Electric Skateboard on Amazon

Unlike most cheap electric skateboards, this unit allows you to independently replace the tires and motors; this will save you money in the long run since you don’t need to buy a new skateboard every time there is a mechanical issue. Talking about the performance, it has a top speed of 24 mph, a battery range of up to 12.5 miles, and a 30% hill grade.

Its biggest snag is that it weighs 17 pounds which could be too heavy for some folks to carry it around.

SYL-08 V3 Electric Off-Road Skateboard

This is an off-road electric skateboard with 8-inch pneumatic tires designed to cruise through mud, grass, gravel, and rocky terrains. If that’s not enough, it’s powered by a 1,450-watt motor that can achieve a top speed of 23 mph and a 30% climbing grade. It’s also fitted with a 10Ah battery with a range of 18.6 miles and a lifespan of at least 2,000 cycles.

See the SYL-08 V3 Electric Off-Road Skateboard on GeekBuying.com

Since you will probably be riding over rocky surfaces, it comes with straps to secure your feet on the board. Besides that, it’s made with a dual front and rear suspension system to protect against shocks. Not to mention, the maple deck is not too rigid so that it can absorb the road vibrations.

Sure, it’s bigger and heavier than most electric skateboards on our guide but that’s not a dealbreaker considering it’s engineered for off-road terrain. A lightweight and smaller electric board wouldn’t be ideal in an off-road situation.

  • Perfect for off-road terrain
  • Bluetooth remote controller
  • Shock absorption system
  • Powerful motor
  • It features straps to secure your feet on board

Voyager Tony Hawk Cruiser Electric Skateboard

With a weight of just 8.4 pounds, this is the lightest electric skateboard on our guide. What’s more, you can purchase it for less than $200 which makes it one of the most affordable electric skateboards on the market.

See the Voyager Tony Hawk Cruiser on RideVoyager.com

Under the deck, it’s fitted with a 350-watt brushless motor capable of reaching a maximum speed of 12.5 mph. To top it off, the motor is designed with auto-start technology that makes the board move as soon as you step on it; that means, you don’t need to push it. Another thing; it comes with an integrated handle on the side that makes it easy to transport.

However, we think a battery range of just 5 miles is below average. Apparently, the designers didn’t want to put a bigger battery under the deck so they could cut down the weight.

What we like about Voyager Tony Hawk Cruiser

  • Compact, lightweight, and portable
  • Auto-start technology
  • 15-degree incline
  • It’s one of the cheapest skateboards

Verreal F1 Electric Skateboard

If you’re searching for an electric longboard that is longer than a typical e-skateboard, this could be a good option. Since it’s different, the Verreal F1 Electric longboard is about 38 inches long to improve speed and precision. Because of the streamlined board design, it’s no surprise that it can speed up to 24.8 mph on dual 250-watt motors.

Thanks to the regenerative braking feature, you can recharge the battery every time you engage the brakes. If you’re using a standard battery, you could get a range of up to 11 miles on slow mode. On the downside, this is not a waterproof electric skateboard.

See the Lycaon GR 2021 Electric Skateboard on LycaonBoard.com

The 480W dual motors are more than enough if you want to accelerate up a hill with a 30% gradient. Better yet, the Lycaon GR 2021 Electric Skateboard is capable of 24 mph and a range of 20 miles after a recharge; although a lot of factors such as the rider’s weight, riding style, terrain, and weather determine the performance.

Blitzart Hurricane Electronic Skateboard

Quite impressively, this e-skateboard is fitted with a 350-watt brushless motor that is as quiet as a church mouse. Beyond that, its brushless hub motor is easier to maintain compared to belt-driven motors and if the tires are worn out, you can easily replace them.

See the Blitzart Hurricane Electronic Skateboard on Amazon

What about the performance? Its 350-watt motor can push it to a maximum speed of 19 mph if you’re a rider with an average weight. Of course, the fact that it’s a longboard with a deck that is 38 inches long with a concave design is one of the reasons it can move so fast with a 350-watt motor. Not to mention, the deck is made out of 7 layers of maple and 2 layers of bamboo; that means, it’s very flexible and sturdy.

Its biggest flaw is the average battery range. If only it could do better than 10 miles of range, it could be the king of low-budget electric skateboards.

What we like about Blitzart Hurricane Electronic Skateboard

  • Easy to control
  • It comes fully assembled
