The Canadian e-scooter developer has packed all of the best commuter features into the all-new Apollo City. Along with its older sibling, the Apollo City Pro, these new scooters strike the perfect balance between design and performance.

Powered by a 500W rear motor, the City can reach a top speed of 27 mph (43.5 km/h). However, the City Pro has two motors, propelling it up to 32 mph (51.5 km/h). Both scooters feature triple spring suspension and double shock absorption for a comfortable ride.
A new regen throttle recharges the battery and provides regenerative braking to bring the scooters to a stop without using the mechanical brakes. As for that battery, the Apollo City has a 13.5 Ah battery for 25 miles (40 km) of range. The Apollo City Pro has a bigger 18 Ah battery to propel it up to 38 miles (61 km). Both scooters use 21700-format cylindrical battery cells and come with 3A chargers for quick recharging.

Interestingly, the tires are described as “self-healing.” There are gel lines inside the tubeless tires designed to seal any puncture instantly. No more worrying about flat tires and having to walk your scooter home.
Apollo has also developed a new smartphone app that can sit on the handlebars via an attachable holder. The app can sync with your scooter to track rides, control performance, and even use GPS directions. You’ll find an anti-glare display for critical data like speed and battery life in the middle of the handlebars.
