Honda Motor Company is mobilizing their own all-electric vehicle shift in China. After 2030, all Honda vehicles sold in the world’s most populous country will be electrified. This includes hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and fully electric vehicles (EVs).

Honda plans to bring their Ultium-based Prologue to North American markets in 2024, but the only electric vehicle they currently offer is their Honda E.

The Honda E is only available in Europe.

Within the next five years, Honda will be introducing 10 “e:N” series electric vehicles in China. The first two will be the “e:NS1” and “e:NP1,” and both of these are set to hit the Chinese market in Spring 2022.

If things go right for Honda, they envision exporting these models from China to other parts of the world.

According to Honda, they are concurrently working on three concept models: the “e:N COUPE Concept,” the “e:N SUV Concept,” and the “e:N GT Concept.” All three are being fast-tracked, and Honda aims to sell them within five years.

The e:NS1 and e:NP1 will be available from Dongfeng Honda and GAC Honda in Spring 2022.
