The Canadian startup Damon Motors showed off their upcoming line of electric motorcycles at this year’s CES, the HyperFighter Colossus.

Built for a new generation of urban riders, the HyperFighter has the technology to match its epic-sounding name. Utilizing Damon’s HyperDrive powertrain, it’ll go fast and far with 170 mph max speed, 146-mile range, and 0-to-60 mph time in three seconds. With very few moving parts, you’ll have virtually no maintenance costs as well.

As for safety, the HyperFighter Colossus will come with the companies Co-Pilot system for situational awareness. It provides 360º advanced warning using radar, cameras, and a predictive AI that can track up to 64 moving objects at a time.

Hype for the HyperFighter

Riders will also be able to use Damon’s Shift technology, adjusting the bikes” ergonomics in real-time. At the push of a button, you can change the riding position between sport or commuter on the fly.

Additionally, the 20 kWh battery features 200 horsepower and supports CCS DC fast charging. It’ll be compatible with all charging stations, sporting level 1 and 2 chargers and J1772 compliant EVSE charging for households.

The HyperFighter expectedly has a colossal price of $35,000. Pre-orders are open today with a deposit of $250.

Future versions of the bike without premium body kits and reduced performance specs will be available for $25,000 and $19,000.

While everything Damon is showing looks and sounds great, we won’t know if the hype is real until riders get their hands on one to experience. However, Damon plans to release only 100 units of the HyperFighter Colossus, so act fast to up your streetfighting game.
