Lectric’s highly-anticipated sequel to their popular XP 2.0 e-bike has finally arrived! Here at Green Authority, we were lucky enough to receive one a little early to give you a first look at the brand-new Lectric XP 3.0 e-bike. Talk about a treat for Halloween. Check out our boxing video below.
The XP 2.0 has been the best-selling e-bike in North America, and on first impression, the 3.0 has seriously leveled up its game. I had the chance to test ride the XP 3.0 at Lectric’s headquarters in Arizona and immediately felt improvements in faster acceleration, better suspension, and sharper braking power.
The XP 3.0 still has the same 500W motor but adds 20nm of torque and has a 20 amp controller compared to the previous 18 amp to transmit more energy from the battery to each bike component. There are also a few comfort upgrades, such as a custom saddle and squishier grips on the handlebar. Amazingly, Lectric has managed to keep the 3.0 at the same low price of just $999.
