Tesla Superchargers are now free to use for Californian Tesla owners. From November 24 to November 28, Tesla is offering free charging “at Superchargers along select California travel routes.”

This special offer, however, will be available during off-peak hours only. That means free Supercharging will be available to Tesla owners before 10:00 AM and after 7:00 PM. 

Tesla’s Supercharging situation has been an area of concern lately, and they have been focusing a lot of their efforts to alleviate atrocious wait times.

Last month, Tesla announced that it is aiming to triple its Tesla Supercharger network within two years’ time. 

This isn’t the first time that Tesla has offered free Supercharging, but it does come at an incredibly opportune time.

While this promotion is only going to be available to people residing in select areas of California, Tesla could always expand this initiative to more locations in the future.
