Simple, reliable, and with low-maintenance costs, the Soltera promises to make metro e-bike commuters’ lives easier. It even includes throttle-enabled electric assist and traditional pedal assist, allowing riders to expend as much or as little effort as they choose.
A 350W rear hub motor propels the bike to a top speed of 20 mph (32 km/h). The 10Ah battery, seamlessly integrated into the frame, provides 41 miles of range on average. However, with no peddling whatsoever, you’ll get half the distance.

Speaking of seamless integration, you’ll also find an LED headlight on the front handlebars and a rear tail light built directly into the back frame, as well as side lighting. Aside from added visibility, not having any bulky taillights adds to the overall minimalist style.
The Aventon smartphone app allows you to sync the Soletra e-bike to your phone. From there, riders can set fitness goals, record and track rides, or adjust the LCD color display and more.
The Aventon Soltera is available in five colors: black, red, blue, yellow or green. In addition, riders will have a choice of drivetrains, either a single-speed version (priced at $1,199) or a seven-speed (priced at $1,299).
