The KBO Ranger is the companies latest electric two-wheeler, marking their first utility-oriented e-bike.

The 20-inch tires combined with a larger frame give this compact e-bike lots of transport potential. Specifically, the aluminum rear rack can support up to 120 pounds, perfect for offloading heavy equipment or serving as a second passenger seat.

Smaller-sized e-bikes appear to be growing in popularity. Just this week, Juiced Bikes unveiled its first fun-sized Ripracer, and Propella unveiled a 33lbs Mini e-bike.

The KBO ranger may be heavier than its competitors of the same size. However, its extra cargo-carrying capacity, including an optional front-mounted basket, makes it ideal for those who need the extra space.

Powered with a continuous 750W geared hub motor and a peak power rating of 900W, so you won’t have to worry about hauling those heavy loads uphill. The right handle even has a helpful half-twist throttle for quick acceleration if you get tired.

The battery is rather large at 48V 17.5Ah, but fits’s in the frame and is removable. With 840 Wh of capacity, KBO says it should ride up to 60 miles (96 km) on a single charge. After that, it will take 5 hours to charge the battery fully.

You’ll also find a 48 V headlight and front and rear mechanical disc breaks. A sturdier center stand will keep the bike in place while parked.
